Rooms and price alerts
Join a bettor-gated Room or watch a price while the browser stays open.
Rooms
A Window's Room is for seats that traded it. A ticker Room admits seats that traded one of that ticker's Windows. Take a seat, open the Room, then choose Join the room when eligible. Your seat signs a message; the server checks the signature and the trading record before admitting you.
Selling out or settlement does not by itself remove a bettor's eligibility. A missing position leaves the Room locked. A failed gate read asks you to retry rather than pretending no position exists. Rooms also need the social store; The Room isn't connected yet means commenting is unavailable on that deployment.
Price alerts
Create an alert for a ticker and keep the browser tab open. The watcher evaluates fresh ticks. Regular stock alerts wait for the regular session; crypto, pre-IPO and other supported 24/7 names use their round-the-clock price basis.
A trigger shows an in-app toast. With browser notification permission it can also show a system notification. Closing the tab stops the watcher. These alerts are not a server push service and do not place trades.
An old or unreadable tick does not trigger a fresh-price alert. Read the asset's as-of time and Status if its source appears stuck.
