Halts and voids

Read an entry pause separately from a Window's final void reason.

Reviewed 2026-10-06

A pause stops new entry. A void is a recorded Window result. Ordinary voided calls return their stake and fee rather than choosing an unsupported Up or Down outcome.

Void reasons

ReasonWhat happened
Missing printNo valid print arrived for the required boundary by its deadline.
Quorum not metSome prints arrived, but fewer than the required oracle quorum.
Resolver absentA quorum existed but was not resolved before the deadline.
Source disagreementThe submitted prices exceeded the Series' agreement limit, or event attestations conflicted.

A Window records one Resolution. Open Print proof for its specific reason and evidence. The usual price Series needs two of three oracle parties within its configured spread limit; the Window's registered terms remain authoritative.

Trading halted or signed price stale

Trading halted identifies an issuer's halt signal. Signed price stale identifies a source that is no longer fresh enough. The watcher uses each lane's own registered source; it does not substitute an unrelated chart price.

The roller can stop listing new Windows and the pricer can pull quotes while a lane is paused. An existing Window still resolves or voids under its own print deadlines. A closed regular stock session is expected and is separate from either condition.

Follow the refund

The settler normally pays an ordinary void refund into your seat's cash. Private calls return to their private bucket. Specialist tickets have their own refund receipts; read Range and Moonshot or Boost and Parlay.

If the result or payment is late, inspect the resolver, settler and projection checks on Status. Use the claim or stale-refund action offered for the position rather than assuming a missing display means the funds were lost.
