Place an Up or Down trade
Choose a live Window, review a quote, and follow a DevNet position through settlement.

A Window has one asset, an opening time, a closing time and a result. On a price Window, Up wins when the signed close is at or above the signed open. Down wins when it is below. A display-price tick does not decide settlement.
Place a call
- Open Trade. Without a seat, orders use guest paper credits. Take a seat to use DevNet test funds.
- Choose an available Window length and check that the Window is trading. The options depend on what the venue currently lists.
- Open the order settings and set your stake. Read the side's displayed price and return, then tap Up or Down to submit. The Trade screen does not add a separate confirmation modal.
- If it says Price moved, read the new price and tap again only if you accept it. Check the actual filled cost in the result; whole-contract sizing and fees can make it differ from the amount requested.
- Wait for the fill message and open position. Check the open-position list and Portfolio before repeating an uncertain submission.
Markets also opens an ordinary ticket from a Window. Its firm quote fixes a side, size and price for your seat for a short period. An expired quote fills nothing. A moved price or a size above current capacity can require a fresh confirmation or a smaller amount.
The hosted check on 8 October 2026 accepted a BTC 2-minute Up call after a Price moved requote. It showed Up BTC opened and Your Up call was filled, with an actual filled cost of 0.85 credits, fee included, from a 1-credit request. Portfolio later showed WON, 3.00 paid and +2.15 net; the rail balance reached 2,012.15. Portfolio listed the stake before fee as 0.84. Read cost, stake before fee and payout as separate amounts.
A successful DevNet acceptance creates your Leg and the venue's opposite leg on Canton. A paper order creates browser state instead. A displayed quote, signed request or pending message alone is not a filled ledger position.
Wait for the result
For the usual price Series, the resolver needs at least two of its three oracle parties at both boundaries, with agreement within the Series' configured spread limit. It records one Resolution, signed by the resolver and venue. Missing prints, insufficient quorum, source disagreement or an absent resolver can void a Window. A void returns the ordinary call's stake and fee.
The venue's settler normally pays resolved positions in batches without another action from you. Portfolio shows the receipt once it has been read. A Window may have a Resolution while its payout is still pending. If a position reaches its refund deadline without settlement, its owner has a stale-refund path; use the action Portfolio offers for that position.
Before the close, an available Close, Cash out or Sell half action asks for the venue's exit price. The exit may be unavailable when the venue has no quote. See Portfolio, Print proof and Halts and voids.
